| Fin Tubes |
| |
| ENCO is a specialist in the range of the fin tube manufacturing.
Fin tubes with basic pipe diameters from 20mm to 100mm, rib heights of 10
mm to 40 mm and different pipe lenghts are manufactured. |
| |
| Types: |
- Y - shaped tubes
- in ferritic steels
- in austenitic steels
|
| Operation and application: |
| The fin tube serves for the heat transfer of liquid
media or steam on gaseous media. The surface of the tube is increased by
the rib on the basic tube and thus a high heat transfer capacity is reached
close together. Thus it is possible to adjust the different heat transfer
values of gas and liquid and/or steam. The rib is drawn up coldly and is
curved and/or bent at the foot, whereby in the sectional view a reverse
Y is generated. By this type the rib stands very stably at the basic tube.
The rib distances (upward gradient) and the rib height are valiable in certain
limits. The fin tubes are used for heating registers, air preheaters, exhaust
gas coolers, heating devices etc. |
